CCTV Released After 27-Year-Old Woman Targeted on City Centre Bus as Police Appeal for Help
A CCTV image of a man has been released after a woman, 27, was reportedly punched in the face on a city bus.
The callous attack occurred at the Civic Centre bus stop in Southampton at 8.30am, and was allegedly unprovoked.
On Thursday June 18, police received reports that a man, in a seemingly random attack, punched a woman in the face on a Blue Star No1. Bus, before getting off.
Police have released an image of a man they are looking for in connection to the incident.
He has been described as white, approximately 6ft tall, and of a slim build.
Wearing round black-framed sunglasses, a dark jacket and blue jeans, the man has brown shaggy hair.
Cops have urged anyone who recognises this individual, or have any information that could assist their investigation, to please call 101, quoting reference 44260288051.
