Chil-ling Footage Shows Teen Fighting for Sur-v-ival After Bru-tal Kn-i-fe At-tack by Three Assailants

A teenager is lucky to be alive after being stabbed multiple times in a brutal attack on a busy Sydney street.

The 17-year-old was set upon by three knife-wielding thugs on King Street in Newtown in what started as a fistfight between a group of teens.

Shocking footage shows the teenager being pinned and beaten before a person runs up behind him and stabs him twice. Another attacker brings the blade out again and stabs his back.

After getting back up, the hooded thug with a knife lunges at the teenager again. Kicked, punched and stabbed, the teen struggles to fight off three attackers before the group finally gives up.

The 17-year-old stumbles down the street in shock and agony with stab wounds across his head and back, his hands covered in blood.

His 18-year-old mate stays by his side, taking off his shirt and using it to try to stem the bleeding.

The friend was later arrested by police and charged with affray over the brawl that left his mate badly hurt in hospital.

The three unknown male suspects seen in the video are still on the run from police.

Police are still waiting to speak to the injured 17-year-old, who is currently in hospital undergoing surgery for ligament and tendon damage.
