Just when the No Limit and Cash Money Verzuz at ComplexCon 2025 seemed to have gone off without a hitch, Birdman ended the night with an unexpected jab at Turk.

After a hit-filled hour that featured artists from both legendary Southern labels going head to head, performing hits such as “Back That Azz Up” on the Cash Money side and “Make Em’ Say Uhh” on the No Limit side, the former’s label co-founder took to the mic with a rant.

“I was trying to do something different in the game,” Birdman said. “I started this shit young. I was a young man trying to get some money and not be in the streets.”

“I started this stunting shit, I started with all this jewelry, I’m the first nigga with diamonds on my teeth, the first nigga with tattoos on my face… I started this stunting shit” -Birdman #VERZUZ

He then listed off some of Cash Money’s early signees and hit makers including B.G., Juvenile, and, most famously, Lil Wayne. He also mentioned out the sole missing Hot Boys member, Turk

The shoutout then soured, with Birdman saying, “Shoutout to Turk. You a little bitch. You ain’t here, but fuck you. We gon’ fuck with you when we want to fuck with you.”

Mannie Fresh interrupted, saying, “Don’t go off script.”

Baby ended his rant by saying, “Cash Money ain’t never gonna die as long as I’m alive.”

In September, Turk filed a lawsuit against tour promoters after being removed from the Cash Money Millionaires’ 30th Anniversary Tour, alleging he’s still owed more than $300,000.

Over the summer, he was removed from the tour, claiming it was due to him refusing to accept a pay reduction. Turk alleges he received a notice of his dismissal from the tour citing safety concerns due to his beef with fellow Cash Money signee B.G., but he claims B.G. was allowed to stay on the tour because he accepted the pay decrease.

Turk responded to Birdman’s comments.

“Cash Money got to understand that it’s not about them,” he began. “It’s about the fans. [They’ve] got to get out of their feelings. Okay, you don’t like him — none of y’all on that stage liked each other once upon a time.”

“Birdman, I understand our language, but I’ve got to say this: you can’t fuck with me when you want to fuck with me,” he continued. “We gonna get that overstood. I’m just gonna leave it at that. Y’all know y’all can’t fuck with me when y’all want to fuck with me.”

Lil Wayne was another absence at the Verzuz battle, although the Cash Money side did play “A Milli” as one of the closing songs of the battle. In other news, Birdman recently said Wayne, Drake, and Nicki Minaj made the label $2 billion.
