Princess Charlotte may be just 11, but she is already developing her own distinct sense of style. And one of her favorite ways to add a personal touch? By adding what has quickly become the princess’s favorite accessory: the hair bow. Attending the annual Trooping the Colour ceremony in London on June 13 alongside her family, Charlotte wore a pretty white dress, but the real show-stopper of her look was her giant white hair bow, which held half of her hair in a center-parted half-up, half-down look.

The large bow matched her sweet white dress with delicate blue floral detailing, which featured puffed sleeves, a pretty lace-trimmed Peter Pan collar, and a bow detail at the neck. In addition to her large bow, she also accessorized with an elegant three-strand pearl bracelet in an apparent nod to her late grandmother Princess Diana. Kate Middleton also wore a three-strand pearl bracelet along with her powder blue Catherine Walker skirt suit and matching hat.

As for Charlotte’s brothers, Prince George and Prince Louis, both coordinated with their mom and sister in navy suits and baby blue ties.

As royal commentator Sharon Carpenter recently told Us Weekly,”[Charlotte is] following closely in her mother’s footsteps when it comes to her princess style, and she’s now regarded as a major child fashion icon.”

The hair bow has become a staple accessory in the princess’s wardrobe. Back in 2024, for instance, Charlotte wore another white bow with her navy sailor dress to the Trooping the Colour ceremony. More recently, in December, Charlotte repeated her signature half-up bow style three times in one month. Just this year, Kate even borrowed her daughter’s favorite accessory styling trick wearing a hair bow of her own.
