A woman asked her father to take her to Durdle Door telling him she had lost her passport there before jumping off a 600ft cliff, an inquest has heard.
Petya Rabrova, 36, messaged her brother telling him to look after their father and ask for forgiveness before plunging to her death in front of shocked tourists.
Her brother, Teodor, tried to call her, but she either kept hanging up or the phone kept cutting out.
Ms Rabrova was found in an unresponsive state at the far end of the Dorset beauty spot at 2pm on June 19 this year and was formally identified at the scene by her father.
Assistant Dorset coroner Richard Middleton said: ‘Her brother Teodor phoned police concerned for welfare.
‘He had received messages saying “look after dad and goodbye”. She told him she was at Durdle Door car park.
‘She sent messages asking for forgiveness from her mum and said she lied about losing her documents and said “I hope my phone does not break as everything is in there”.’
Ms Rabrova had written her name and date of birth on her hand before jumping off the cliff, and also left a suicide note apologising to her family, which was found by a beachgoer two days after her death.

Ms Rabrova was formally identified at the scene by her father. Pictured: Emergency services at the sceneThe inquest heard Ms Rabrova was originally from Bulgaria but lived in north-west London and worked as a receptionist.
She had no history of mental illness but had started suffering olfactory and auditory hallucinations in the months before her death.
Ms Rabrova went to the GP about a foul smell of ammonia following her in February and later told doctors she had concerns about her home being poisoned and that she may have ingested chemical fumes.
She was signed off sick from work for a month and her mother told the doctor she was also washing her hands to the point of skin cracking.
Ms Rabrova had a CT and MRI scan as well as blood tests but there was no evidence of a physical cause for her symptoms.
She had a mental health assessment on June 16, which found there was ‘some diagnostic uncertainty’ so they decided to do a further 12-week extended assessment.
They tried to call Ms Rabrova on June 19 to set up the next appointment but she did not answer.
Witness Rod Morton was sitting on the beach at Durdle Door below with his wife when he saw a ‘white object’ falling out of the corner of his eye.
He said: ‘In my peripheral vision I could see a white object falling. I was unsure if it was a rock or animal.
‘I saw a couple of kayakers pull onto land and they were attending to the person on the ground.
‘I didn’t see whether the lady had fallen or jumped, I noticed her when she was already halfway down.’
Paddleboarder David Gurr was about 65ft offshore when he heard a loud noise he thought was a cliff fall at first, but then saw a woman at the foot of the cliff.
He also rushed to help and provide CPR, but Ms Rabrova suffered multiple injuries and was declared dead at the scene.
Assistant Dorset coroner Mr Middleton said that with her plan to go to Durdle Door, note of intention found by a member of the public and the messages with her brother, he was satisfied she had intended to cause her death and gave a conclusion of suicide.
