Another season of Farmer Wants a Wife has come to an end, and its latest leading men have made their final decisions.
The Season 4 finale, which aired on June 9, concluded with Brett Maverick, Braden Pridemore, and Sean Cavanaugh choosing which of their final two women they want to begin building a life with. The trio spoke with Swooon and gave us insight into their choices.
For Brett, that was his contestant Quinn. “I just had a lot of excitement about it. I was excited to see Quinn, excited to, when it was over, to just kind of relax and hang out. So, it was a good day for me,” Brett exclusively told Swooon of filming the finale.
Quinn, for her part, added, “I think I had an inkling it was me, and everything was going to be fine. But also, there was another person involved, and I loved her. I love her. But the whole week, it was just like, ‘I just want to be around him, I miss being around him. And when this is all done, we can actually move forward.’”

Following an emotional conversation with his contestant Brittney, Braden followed his heart and chose Casey as his final pick. “We’ve come so far since that Day 1 to now, and we’ve been dating seven months now since wrapping the show, and feelings have gotten a lot stronger,” he told Swooon. “And it was such a great moment on the show, and it’s just something that we’re always gonna love to look back on, so we’re excited for it.”
Casey joked that she “blacked out” while filming the finale. “It was so sweet, but I don’t remember everything he said. So, I’m excited to just get to watch it back and just see it again,” she shared.
For Sean, he knew early on that his contestant Emily was the right person for him. “Everything about Emily was just picture perfect, and then, her personality was even better. So, I think she’s truly everything I’ve been looking for, and more,” he gushed. “So, I think that was just very clear to me from the start, and it carried all the way through the season. And then, after it wrapped, things couldn’t be going better.

Emily noted that she was full of excitement and nerves heading into the show’s final week. “[I was] just ready to be like, ‘Alright. I’m ready to see what’s going to happen and get back to life, or start our life.’ So it was interesting,” she stated.

While the show’s intent is for the farmers to pick someone to share life on the farm with, many of the couples have yet to move in together. “We’re just taking it day by day. We enjoy being with each other, and we enjoy dating,” Brett said of his and Quinn’s post-show relationship. “She’s still in Idaho, and I’m in Tennessee, so I try to get out there as much as I can. Her job’s pretty demanding, so she doesn’t have the luxury of taking off like I do. But yeah, we’re just kind of taking it to see how it goes. We’re not jumping too far ahead of ourselves, but we love being with each other, and we love each other, so we’re seeing where it goes.”
Braden teased that he and Casey have had “conversations that still stay between me and her,” but said “things are looking great” for the two right now. “[It’s] kind of one step at a time. The finale airing, when we’ll actually be able to leave the house together and be seen in public, that will be nice,” he stated. “But, yeah. Things are great. They’re really looking great, and we’re looking forward to the future, for sure.”

Sean, for his part, told Swooon that he and Emily are in the process of splitting time in different places. “After the show wrapped, we spent some time together here in California. I took her to Santa Barbara, and then took her home for Thanksgiving,” he shared. “And then, she went back to Florida and had some obligations with work, and she was home for Christmas with her family. And then, I came out there in Florida, and we decided that we never wanted to spend three weeks apart again.”
Sean continued, “I packed up my truck, moved to Georgia with her for a few months, and now, we’ve been back and forth in between California and Georgia, really kind of taking in the best of both worlds. And for the summer, we’re here on the ranch, living farm life. And yeah, we’re inseparable.”
