Tra-gic Final Ride: 16-Year-Old Boy Ki-lle-d in H-orror Scrambler Crash as Heartbroken Tributes Pour In for Teen With “Sparkling Blue Eyes”
A 16-YEAR-OLD boy has died following a collision between a scrambler bike and a lorry in Co Tyrone.
The teenage victim has been named as Connor Magee Campbell from the Clonoe area of the county.

The fatal crash occurred in the Derryloughan Road area of Coalisland at around 8.15pm on Thursday.
The teenager was given medical treatment at the scene and rushed to hospital.
However, the PSNI confirmed today that the young lad has since died from his injuries.
Connor is the “beloved son” of Brian and Megan Campbell and the late Kayleigh Magee.
He is also the “much loved brother” of Michael, Daniel and Paudi.
He is also greatly missed by grandparents Mickey and Teresa Campbell, Aileen O’Neill and great grandparents of Kathleen Campbell and Mickey O’Neill.
He is predeceased by his late grandfather Christopher Magee.
No funeral arrangements have been confirmed but the family have requested the house remain private until young Connor’s wake.
Connor’s school has led tributes to him this morning as news of his shock passing spreads through the local area.
St Joseph’s College in Coalisland said: “It is with profound sadness that the St Joseph’s College, Coalisland community has learned of the passing of our former pupil, Connor Magee, following a road traffic accident.
“Connor had recently completed his final year at the College and was looking forward to receiving his GCSE results. He remained a much-loved member of our school community, and his loss is deeply felt by students, staff and all who knew him.”
Tributes have also poured in from the wider community today as they grieve the loss of the teenager.
One person added to the school’s tribute: “Was a pleasure to be part of your journey in St Joseph’s a great lad with the best sense of fun. Rest in Peace Connor.”
Another person wrote: “I am so so sorry to hear this news, such a lovely lad.”
A third said: “Such a lovely lad taken far too soon who will be sorely missed.”
Frank Gervin Clonoe ABC, a boxing club in the area, also paid tribute to Connor who was a longtime member.
Conor’s parents previously coached at the club, adding another layer of heartbreak for the group.
They penned: “It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of our member, Connor Magee Campbell.
“Connor was a bright, cheeky and lively young lad whose sparkling blue eyes and infectious personality brought joy to those around him.
“He will be fondly remembered by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him through our club and beyond.”
Following the crash on Thursday the PSNI have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
In a statement today Detective Inspector Stewart from the Police Service’s Collision Investigation Unit said: “We received a report at approximately 8.15pm on Thursday evening, 30th July of a collision involving a scrambler and Scania lorry in the Derryloughan Road area.
“Officers attended, alongside Northern Ireland Ambulance Service colleagues – and medical treatment was provided at the scene.
“The 16-year-old, who has been named as Connor Magee Campbell from the Clonoe area, was taken onward to hospital where he sadly later died from his injuries.
“We would like to hear from witnesses or anyone who may have captured dash-cam or other footage of what happened, which could assist with our ongoing enquiries.
