Teen Wanted for At-tempted M-ur-der on the Run After Transfer From Youth De-tention Center

MONROE, N.C. – A teen, wanted for attempted murder, turned himself in Saturday morning, according to the Union County Sheriff’s Office.
Xemetryes James Bennett Jr. was wanted in connection to an ongoing investigation but deputies did not say more about the incident.
He was served a secured custody order for attempted murder, armed robbery, and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
Bennett was transferred to the custody of the Cabarrus Youth Development Center.
