A week on from leaving the villa, Kavan met up for drinks with fellow former islander George Knight.
A social media video shows the pair sitting down outside a pub on a sunny day.
One person commented underneath the clip: “Oh I hate this for kav.”
Another wrote: “Um why would he choose to meet up with him after he was exposed???”

The Sun told how George left the villa after six days after using an offensive slur – and trying to cover it up.
George initially told The Sun that he’d taken the decision after learning worrying health news about an immediate family member.
We revealed how that story – whilst true – was used to mask another reason for his exit.
George was formally warned for using “unacceptable language” in the villa and was sent packing.
At the same time the footballer from Winchester received the news from home.
ITV told at the time George had left for “private reasons” but there was no suggestion the broadcaster worked to cover up his behaviour.
The channel said: “We have a duty of care towards George and as such will not be commenting further.”
