LOVE ISLAND SHO-CKER: Ellie’s Hideaway “Second Chance” Date Revealed as Her Rival’s Own Brother in Explosive Twist
Love Island viewers were astonished during this Thursday’s (4 June) episode as the fallout from the show’s first dumping continued to send shockwaves throughout the villa, with the arrival of two new bombshells set to help Ellie and Samraj get their revenge after their elimination – but there was another huge twist in the works as one of the newcomers shares a surprising family link to another Islander.
During Wednesday’s instalment of the ITV2 series, bombshells Yasmin and George made the difficult decision to dump one boy and one girl from the competition after being secretly tasked with choosing who should leave.
Their choice, which needed to be given after their first 24 hours in Mallorca, ultimately fell on Ellie and Samraj, leaving their fellow singletons reeling. However, the drama was only just beginning. In scenes aired this Thursday, Islanders continued questioning both bombshells over their decision, completely unaware of Ellie and Samraj’s true fate.

Following their dramatic exit, the pair received a text revealing they had not been dumped from the show entirely. Instead, Ellie and Samraj were whisked away to the Hideaway, where they reflected on the events that led to their departure from the main villa.
Samraj admitted he was frustrated, while Ellie vowed to take a more direct approach if she was given another chance. The pair were then thrown another lifeline when they learned they would be meeting two brand-new bombshells – business development manager Priya and electrician Kavan.
Ellie and Samraj wasted no time in getting to know the newcomers during an intimate drink at The Hideaway. But for Ellie, things got awkward when she found that her new date was in fact Aidan’s brother.
Kavan has already revealed that love will be his main objective in the villa. “Finding love is definitely the goal,” he said upon his arrival. “Obviously it’s Love Island, so there’s always going to be some drama but I’m quite a chilled person – I’ll stay calm and collected.”

Priya appears just as determined, saying: “I will go for what I want. Genuinely, I can’t fake stuff. My face tells a story. If I’m not feeling something, it’s going to be quite obvious.” Both bombshells made their way back to the main villa alongside Ellie and Samraj, before mingling with other islanders and forming their first connections.
However, as the episode drew to a close, Ellie and Samraj were informed that they weren’t quite out of the woods and could still be eliminated if Priya and Kavan didn’t couple up with them.
Meanwhile, sparks continued to fly between Yasmin and Aidan as the pair headed to the terrace for a private chat after growing closer. But the development could have major consequences given Ellie remains unaware of exactly how far Aidan and Yasmin’s connection has progressed.

Aidan, who had been torn between both of his connections with Yasmin and Ellie, confronted the bombshell over Ellie’s elimination, while Robyn also sought answers from George over why he had chosen to send Samraj home.
Off-screen, however, the line-up has been hit with surprising news after an ITV spokesperson announced that George had left the Love Island villa for personal reasons, leaving behind his budding connections with Robyn – with whom he shared a kiss – and Mica.
