Love Island star Ellie Chadwick has walked out of the villa. The star had been struggling since her partner, Finley Maddock, had started talking to bombshell Elicia Bailey, and has now quit the show over her heartache.
The sad move comes only days before the final of Love Island – which Ellie and Fin were previously thought to win. The pair seemed one of the most solid couples on the show before Elicia’s arrival.
Former contestant Toni Laites suggested Fin had “given away £50k” on an episode of Aftersun, after his head was turned.
Amid the ongoing drama, Ellie had threatened to walk away on multiple occassions but now has finally gone through with her statement.

It’s a shock turn around after Ellie and Fin coupled up together and were cuddling in bed during Tuesday 14 July’s episode.
Revealing Ellie’s motive, a source told The Sun: “This is one where the time difference between show action and real life really matters.
“Viewers have seen Ellie threatening to leave across recent episodes, so the news of her now quitting won’t feel like a surprise. But in real time, her and Fin reconnected at the recoupling a few days ago so her decision to now leave is a shock. Viewers will see the dramatic action play out in an episode soon.”

Ellie reportedly quit the ITV2 dating show on Tuesday night. She is the third person to leave this year’s show without being dumped, after OG bombshell George Knight left the villa for “personal reasons”. Casa Amor boy Gabriel Garland also left the show after producers became aware he was named in court documents in the conviction of a man found guilty of grievous bodily harm.
Despite being a viewer favourite, Ellie has had a rough time of it in the villa. She entered as an original islander on day one and coupled up with Aidan Murphy – the two got on well and even shared a kiss early on. But, on only day three, bombshell Yasmin Hadlow chose to dump her so that she could be with Aidan.
Luckily for Ellie, she was given a second chance when new boy Kavan Murphy – Aidan’s brother – decided to save her, keeping her in the villa. Though the two got on, they were not meant to be. Ellie was picked by bombshell Tommy Murphy – no relation to Aidan and Kavan – soon after, but he also had his head turned a little while later.

Ellie was then chosen by Fin, which was when things started to improve for her. She was voted favourite girl via a public vote and she and Fin were going strong, remaining in their couple after Casa Amor. As the public started to think about who they wanted to win the show, the couple seemed like the frontrunners – until Fin started talking to bombshell Elicia and kissed her on a date.
The current favourites to win are Julia Majchrzak and Lorenzo Alessi, who recently won favourite couple. After coupling up during Casa Amor, Lorenzo and Julia returned to the main villa, where Julia soon got into a feud with Lola Deal and Sean Fitzgerald.
The feud ultimately saw Lola and Sean in the bottom three after a public vote. Lorenzo and Julia were tasked with picking a couple from the bottom three to dump and Lola and Sean offered to go.
