EXCLUSIVE: Rejected But Still Friends?! Farmer Wants A Wife’s Scarlett Reveals the Truth About Her Bond With Dylan After Their Emotional Split
As the dust settles on the Farmer Wants A Wife finale, it seems as though some of the women weren’t as keen on their farmers as we first expected.
Dylan and Jarrad chose Ally and Brodie, respectively, but the two women who weren’t picked didn’t seem to be fully set on the farmers, both sensing their connections weren’t quite what they wanted them to be before final decisions.
While Yvonne beat Jarrad to it, Scarlett remained composed and graceful as she allowed Dylan to tell her, teary-eyed and nervous, that his heart was set on Ally.
Scarlett already had time to ponder this outcome and spoke to WHO about what was going through her head during those final moments on the show.
She also revealed that the farmer is still one of her “closest friends” after the show, confessing she adopted a popular life motto in order to avoid any bad blood from forming between them.
“Loving someone is letting them go,” she told WHO.

‘I want someone that picks me every single day’
Over the last couple of weeks, fans have applauded Scarlett for standing up and being honest with Dylan and Ally after their ‘secret kiss’ caused major drama at the black tie event. This same honesty and composure were on display as Dylan delivered his final decision.
“I stayed so composed because I came into this experience being like, ‘I want someone that picks me every single day,’” the contestant said. “Not just in one moment. I want someone that picks me every single day.
“I know that’s what I deserve because I will always pick my partner in every single moment.”
There’s often so much focus placed on whether the ladies are right for the farmers, but in this moment, Scarlett proved that it’s just as important for the women to ask themselves if the men are right for them.
Words to live by!
“I think that’s when I knew that Dylan wasn’t my person,” Scarlett confessed. “Honestly, I was just happy that he followed his heart and he chose Ally. I think that’s the best thing I could have asked [for] out of it – that at least two people find love – and I think you want everyone to find love.
“And if it’s not me, then it just means that there’s someone waiting for me.”

Why Scarlett still decided to ‘put it all on the table’ with Dylan
Despite not being fully committed during her final days on the show, Scarlett opened up about still wanting to “put it all on the table” during their final date – not so much for Dylan, but for herself.
Laughing her way through her “I’m falling for you” confession, Scarlett explained that the moment was awkward and hard, but something she wanted to push herself to say.
“It was really funny,” she said. “It was hard for me. I think we had to retake that maybe four times because I was laughing, because for me, it’s so scary to say that.
“I can’t take it seriously because it’s so embarrassing – I mean, it’s never embarrassing to put your feelings on the line – but for myself it felt like ‘Oh, I need to drop my ego in this moment and actually say how I feel.’”
Scarlett also joked that “it’s hard to drop your ego”, especially when there’s a chance “you’re going to get rejected on national TV”.
“I was just like, ‘I need to stay true to myself, and I should just put it all on the table’,” she revealed. “It was my last shot, and I don’t think there’s any harm in saying what you feel at the end of the day.”

Scarlett hints at Dylan and Ally’s relationship status
Despite putting her heart on the line, Scarlett revealed that there’s absolutely no bad blood between her and the farmer, and that they’ve remained friends.
“Post show, Dylan is one of my closest friends – him and Ally are my closest friends,” she said. “I absolutely adore them [for] being with me through the hard moments.”
In Scarlett’s mind, she “got two beautiful friendships out of [the experience]”.
“I think that’s one of the best things I could have possibly walked away with,” she gushed.
