Office Romance is led by A-listers Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein, who also co-wrote the film with Joe Kelly. It was directed by Ol Parker, best known for helming the acclaimed musical sequel Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.

Lopez portrays AirCruz CEO Jackie Cruz, a powerful yet frequently underestimated businesswoman who finds herself falling for her company’s new British lawyer, Daniel Blanchflower (Goldstein).

Alongside the two leads is a stellar supporting cast, which includes Betty Gilpin (GLOW) as Jackie’s most trusted colleague Sydney Bloom, Tony Hale (Veep) as HR director George Dudek, Bradley Whitford (The Handmaid’s Tale) as unhinged lawyer Peter Vance, and Jodie Whittaker (Doctor Who) as Daniel’s sister, Lizzy.

Also in the ensemble is comedy icon Amy Sedaris (Bojack Horseman) as Julie Schatz and Blade Runner’s Edward James Olmos as Captain Jack Cruz, Jackie’s father.

The film follows CEO Jackie Cruz, who is facing a lawsuit from rival airline Falcon Air.

AirCruz’s frenetic lawyer Peter Vance would normally be on the case, but an unpleasant encounter with a food truck burrito leaves him out of commission.

In steps Daniel, who, after a rather awkward first encounter with Jackie, becomes determined to see his boss come out on top. But sparks soon start to fly and a steamy work trip to the Dominican Republic complicates their professional relationship.

When was Office Romance released?

The film dropped on Netflix today, Friday 5th June. In the UK, new releases typically become available at 8am.
