Ellie’s Love Island journey didn’t get off to a good start as she coupled up with Aidan, then Kavan and then Tommy.
Things started looking more positive after Finley entered the villa as a bombshell and only had eyes for her — but then it went down hill again when he told her that he wanted to get to know newcomer Elicia.
Last week, the Islanders had to send two co-stars home, and they decided to go with Finley and Martha. Ellie then decided to walk to be with her man.
On Sunday night’s episode of Aftersun, host Maya Jama asked Ellie: “Have you just walked away from £25k and being a winner, maybe?”

Ellie replied: “I wasn’t in it for the money. I came in, found what I wanted and I’m happy.
“That’s that. That’s it.”

Her response sent the live crowd wild and they all cheered her on after her sweet words.
Last week, The Sun exclusively reported how the Scottish stunner had left the show and walked out just days before the final.
We then documented the real reason for Ellie’s exit before Love Island fans reckoned they’d sussed her departure out.
During the episode, Maya revealed the public had been voting for their favourite girl and favourite boy, and how those with the fewest votes were at risk of being dumped.
The girls with fewest votes were Martha, Elicia and Mica. Meanwhile, the boys with the fewest votes were Jordon, Finley and Samraj.
The girl and boy with the fewest votes, Elicia and Jordon, were immediately dumped.
Another boy and girl needed to be dumped and the choice lay with the Islanders who were deemed safe.
The Islanders endured lots of back and forth before their tough decision, which saw them finally cast their vote, sending Martha and Finley packing.
Ellie – who was a Love Island OG in the cast for this season – then said she was leaving too.
Julia spoke up in an attempt to initiate a U-turn and said she doesn’t think they should have dumped Finley and Martha.
Lorenzo also wanted Ellie to sleep on the decision but she was set on leaving.
