The famous reality TV “bromance” duo Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks have divided Loose Women viewers after appearing on the latest episode of the ITV talk show.
The pair — who co-host the “Staying Relevant” podcast — appeared on the daytime program to promote their new book of the same name.
During the show, Sam and Pete revealed that they are each other’s first call in times of crisis and even have four matching tattoos.
However, while some viewers were charmed by their heartwarming friendship, others were annoyed, saying the interview was just repeating old stories.
Sam, who has recently started dating again, shared:
“I call Pete before anyone else. It’s genuinely true. Whether it’s for advice or anything I’m going through, I’ve cried on the phone to him many times this year.
He always gives me the best advice. I know that even if I were on the other side of the world and needed help, he’d be the first one there.”
Pete replied:
“The beautiful thing about Sam and me is that we take the mick out of each other all the time. But we’re not even really best friends anymore — we’ve become family.”
Viewers were split in their reactions:

After splitting from Zara McDermott, the former Made in Chelsea star is now dating Talitha Balinska.
He described the relationship as “super relaxed” and said it’s not official yet at the time of publication.
On his podcast with Pete, Sam said:
“There’s not been any chat about that. There’s no pressure, and that’s the beauty of it — no pressure, no timeline.
The worst part is, if she sees this, I might get canned next week.”
Talitha Balinska, a London-born DJ and music producer, rose to fame on TikTok, where she has over 500,000 followers thanks to her music mixes, lip-syncs, and dance videos.
The 24-year-old has also modeled for brands such as Asos and Dinelli, and it’s reported that she first met Sam during a Dinelli photoshoot.
