Prince Harry, 41, touched down in Britain on Monday ahead of a series of charitable commitments, arriving without his wife Meghan Markle or their two children.
His elder brother Prince William, 44, was simultaneously undertaking royal duties in west London whilst Harry attended an event in central London.
The proximity of their appearances marked another occasion where the brothers have been in the same city without any contact between them.

William spent his morning at Ysgol Gymraeg Llundain, the London Welsh School in Hanwell, where he joined pupils in recording messages of support for Team Wales before the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.
Meanwhile, Harry made his first official appearance since returning to the UK at Chatham House, where he participated in the 14th Invictus Games Foundation Conversation: From Policy to Practice.
Despite receiving difficult news shortly before his arrival, the duke appeared composed and cheerful as he greeted those attending the event, showing no visible signs of distress.
That difficult news came in the form of a significant courtroom defeat in Harry’s ongoing legal battle against British tabloids.

A judge earlier today threw out the Duke’s lawsuit against Associated Newspapers Limited, the publisher behind the Daily Mail.
The ruling found that Harry and six fellow claimants had not successfully demonstrated their allegations that the media group had unlawfully obtained private information.
The claims included accusations of using private investigators, deceptive practices, phone hacking and corrupt payments to gather material.
Despite this setback in his years-long campaign against the press, Harry proceeded with his scheduled Invictus Games engagement.

The brothers’ estrangement burst into public view in 2020 following Harry and Meghan’s departure from royal duties and subsequent relocation to California.
The rift reportedly originated when William voiced concerns that his younger brother’s relationship with Meghan was progressing too rapidly.
Harry’s 2023 memoir described William as both his “beloved brother” and his “archnemesis,” revealing details of their rivalry including an altercation that became physical.
Royal biographer Robert Lacey has previously told People: “The rift is very profound and very long-lasting. It will not be changed, in my opinion, until Harry makes a move and apologizes.”
Historian Amanda Foreman observed: “Everyone wants it to happen on their terms, but that’s what makes it impossible.”
