Boosie Badazz is now entangled in a legal case in Harris County tied to an incident at Houston’s Privilege Nightclub. Police officials say the arrest occurred on May 25 after a reported confrontation involving a security guard and a hookah base. He was later booked on aggravated assault charges. The matter has since entered the court system.

After a recent court appearance, Boosie addressed the allegations in a video message shared with supporters. In the recording, he dismissed the case as a “money grab.” He framed it as an attempt to exploit him. He also claimed the accuser had previously served an 18-year sentence for aggravated assault. Furthermore, he said his parole officer had been notified.

Court filings remain limited, and officials have not yet outlined a final outcome. Boosie has indicated he does not plan to enter a guilty plea as proceedings continue. Earlier reports suggest he was working at the venue that night as a host before the situation unfolded.

Nightclub Ejection Turns Violent, Security Guard Injured

Reports indicate that the incident is said to have started when security personnel attempted to escort a woman out of a restroom area after the venue had already closed for the evening. This marked the beginning of rising tension inside the nightclub, according to statements included in the report. What began as a routine removal reportedly escalated into a verbal dispute. During this encounter, belongings were dropped. The atmosphere inside the venue quickly became more tense and disordered.

Multiple accounts described the interaction unfolding in a short span of time; thereafter, it was reported. From there, a security guard intervened. He was allegedly struck in the head with a hookah base, according to accounts provided by investigators reviewing the scene. The guard later sought medical attention for a head injury sustained in the incident, officials said afterward.
