After a breakout debut that turned office politics into must-watch chaos, Running Point is officially returning for a second season in Spring 2026 — and according to insiders, “the Gordons are about to turn the volume up to eleven.”
The hit workplace dramedy, which became one of the most talked-about comedies on streaming last year, follows the dysfunctional yet fiercely ambitious Gordon family as they attempt to keep control of their family-owned sports agency amid boardroom betrayals, PR nightmares, and the occasional family meltdown.
Season 2 promises to be bigger, bolder, and completely unhinged. “This time, everyone’s fighting for the top spot — and nobody’s playing nice,” teased showrunner Lara Kensington, who confirmed that the new season will explore the “highs and lows of ambition, loyalty, and the absurd lengths people go to when family becomes business.”
Returning cast members include Samantha Reid as the razor-sharp CEO Maggie Gordon, whose one-liners have already become legendary among fans, and Marcus Cole as her smooth-talking brother Eli, who’s determined to take back what he thinks is rightfully his. Also confirmed: fan-favorite Jenna Morales returns as assistant-turned-power player Roxy, whose underdog story struck a chord with audiences worldwide.

According to early production leaks, new episodes will feature major location shifts, shocking betrayals, and a “career-ending scandal” that could divide the Gordons forever.
Executive producer Daniel Whitmore described the new season as “a louder, faster ride through power, ego, and family pride — but with more heart than ever before.” He added, “We wanted to give fans everything they loved about Season 1 — the sharp writing, the chaos, the swagger — but also raise the emotional stakes.”
Since its debut, Running Point has been praised for its witty scripts, dynamic performances, and uncanny ability to make office politics feel as dramatic as a championship game. Critics have compared it to Succession meets Ted Lasso — “but with better outfits and far more shouting.”
With production wrapping in late 2025, Running Point: Season 2 is slated to premiere globally in Spring 2026, exclusively on Netflix.
And if one thing’s clear from the cast teasers already lighting up social media, it’s this: the Gordons aren’t just back — they’re here to prove that in their world, the boss always wins.
