URGENT MANHUNT: Vietnamese Police Hunt Two Australian Nationals Linked to Deadly Homicide Case in Ho Chi Minh City

Authorities in southern Vietnam have launched an urgent search operation for two foreign nationals believed to be connected to a murder investigation that originated in Ho Chi Minh City and may have extended into Tây Ninh Province.

On the afternoon of May 22, police in Trảng Bàng Ward, Tây Ninh, issued an emergency public notice asking residents to remain vigilant and immediately report any sightings or information related to the two men.

The individuals identified by investigators are Lang Kenny Trong Minh Do, 36, an Australian Vietnamese national, and White Justin John, 39, an Australian citizen. According to initial findings released by local authorities, the pair are suspected of involvement in a homicide case that occurred in Ho Chi Minh City.

Police said preliminary investigations indicate that after the incident took place, both men allegedly left the city and hired a taxi heading toward Trảng Bàng. The vehicle reportedly dropped them off near the Co.opmart shopping area in Trảng Bàng before the pair disappeared. Their current whereabouts remain unknown.

Investigators believe the suspects may still be moving through surrounding areas or attempting to evade detection. Law enforcement agencies have described the two men as extremely dangerous, warning members of the public not to approach them under any circumstances.

Residents who believe they have seen either individual, or who may possess relevant information about their movements, are strongly urged to contact the nearest police station immediately. Authorities emphasized that citizens should avoid any direct confrontation and instead allow trained officers to handle the situation.

Images of the two men have also been circulated publicly as part of the emergency alert, with officials hoping increased awareness will assist in tracking their movements.

Meanwhile, police forces across Tây Ninh Province are working alongside specialized investigative units and other law enforcement agencies in an intensified effort to locate the suspects. Search teams are reviewing surveillance footage, checking transportation routes, and conducting field operations across multiple locations.

The case has attracted significant public attention due to the cross-provincial nature of the investigation and the involvement of foreign nationals. Officials have not yet released additional details about the victim, the motive, or the circumstances surrounding the homicide, citing the ongoing investigation.

Authorities say more information will be made public as evidence is gathered and the search progresses.

The investigation remains active, and police continue to call on the public for cooperation as efforts intensify to locate the two wanted men and advance the homicide inquiry.
