The King and Queen are scheduled to arrive in the United States on Monday
Queen Camilla will present a specially crafted Roo toy to the New York Public Library during the royal couple’s state visit to America.
As a result, the Queen will reunite the beloved Winnie-the-Pooh characters after nearly a century apart.
Roo was produced by heritage British toymaker Merrythought and was designed to complete the library’s famous collection of original teddy bears that once belonged to Christopher Robin Milne.
Merrythought is the same manufacturer responsible for creating the original toys in the early 1900s.

It crafted the replacement kangaroo joey based on the classic illustrations from A A Milne’s cherished children’s stories.
The library’s permanent Treasures collection houses the actual stuffed animals that belonged to A. A. Milne’s son.
They served as inspiration for the tales first published exactly 100 years ago in 1926
Visitors can currently view five of the original toys, Winnie, Tigger, Piglet, Kanga and Eeyore, displayed together in the New York institution.

However, the baby kangaroo Roo has been absent from the group for decades, having gone missing in an apple orchard during the 1930s.
The Queen’s gift will finally restore the complete set of characters that captured imaginations worldwide.
The King and Queen are scheduled to arrive in the United States on Monday for a four-day official visit, during which they will hold talks with Donald Trump and attend a state banquet at the White House.

President Trump has indicated the visit could help repair diplomatic ties between the two nations following tensions over the Iran conflict.
The Roo toy is currently being kept at Buckingham Palace ahead of its transatlantic journey, and will travel alongside the Queen aboard the royal aircraft.
During her time in New York, Camilla will tour the library’s Treasures collection before presenting the specially commissioned gift.
