HARROWING footage shows cold-blooded killer Tanner Horner calmly cleaning up his FedEx truck after kidnapping and murdering seven-year-old Athena Strand.

In the video taken on the day of the killing, Horner, 34, smokes a cigarette before turning into a gas station to get spray and a roll of paper towels to wipe down the back of the vehicle.

The chilling clean-up operation was all caught on the truck’s security camera in the driver’s cabin, which he had covered up during the murder itself.

At another point in the clip, the cold-blooded murderer can be seen putting items in a small plastic bag, likely the used tissue paper.

After cleaning the inside of the truck, he drove to the FedEx facility where he called dispatch and requested the use of the same vehicle for the following day.

“It smells like barf in here…it must have been something I ate,” he disturbingly said as reason to give him back the same truck.

The footage was shown during a particularly distressing day in court that left the jury shaking and sobbing as footage of kidnapping and murder was shown.

At one point, a terrified Athena can be seen begging for her mom and asking Horner, “Are you a kidnapper?”

Athena’s family, who have testified in the trial, left the courtroom before the sickening footage and audio of the murder was played to the jury.

Jurors were warned since the beginning of the trial that the testimony in the case included gruesome information like Horner’s first words to Athena which were, “Don’t scream or I’ll hurt you.”

When audio from her final moments played in court on Friday, news outlets cut their feeds due to the graphic content.

Before the prosecution rested its case on Friday, the court also heard how Horner searched Athena’s pictures, missing person posters, and crime scene photos days after her death, per FBI forensic examiner Scott Morris.

He further testified that Horner searched phrases like, “Do FedEx truck cameras constantly record?” after strangling the child in the vehicle.

Meanwhile, another video from the day after Athena went missing shows Horner returning to the scene where a search party had gathered.

He even stopped to speak to a woman and acted in surprise at the news a seven-year-old girl was missing.

Additional details revealed in court in recent weeks include how Athena was likely sexually assaulted after cops found Horner’s DNA in “places where you shouldn’t find DNA on a seven-year-old girl.”

Horner has pleaded guilty to kidnapping and killing Athena after delivering her Barbie Christmas present to her home in Wise County, Texas, in November 2022.

After claiming to cops his alter ego Zero took over and killed the girl, he told the court that he acted in panic after accidentally hitting her with his van.

Prosecutors have torn apart that version of events, pointing to footage showing the girl unharmed inside his van.

Instead, they say he abducted the girl before stripping and killing her and dumping her body in a creek six miles away from her Paradise home.

Athena’s body was found two days after she was kidnapped.

Jurors must now decide if he should face the death penalty or life in prison.
