Fans say an ‘absolutely phenomenal’ crime series is the perfect binge watch that viewers can finish in just one night.

All episodes of Deli Boys are now streaming on Disney+ including the recently released second season. Fans who have already watched it have been quick to call it an underrated and under discovered gem that deserves significantly more attention from audiences.

The series begins and follows a pair of of pampered Pakistani American brothers who lose everything when their convenience store-magnate father suddenly dies. They are immediately forced to reckon with their Baba’s secret life of crime as they attempt to take up his mantle in the underworld.

While the first season debuted with an impressive 96% rating on website Rotten Tomatoes, Season 2 managed to go even further with a perfect 100% score.

Fans noted their delight when the second season included an increased number of notable guest stars. That includes former Queer Eye expert Tan France who takes on the role of a London gangster.

There are 10 episodes in the first season, with a shorter length in its second with just six parts. That means that it is a palatable binge watch across one or two evenings.

Many fans have encouraged others to give it a chance with some labelling it as “absolutely phenomenal” and “top three best shows of all time.” Others admit to staying up all night to watch all episodes in one go.

Another agreed as they shared their thoughts on the series online. They posted: “Binge watched the season in one sitting. Absolutely loved it! It’s beautiful, it’s interesting, it’s fresh, and it’s not too serious. I absolutely loved it! I love the diversity of the characters, and it’s super unexpected. The transformation and the journey of the brothers is like How I Met Your Mother meets The Godfather.”

Another added: “Deli Boys is such an underrated gem. The humour is sharp, and the chemistry between the characters is on point. Definitely worth checking out—if you haven’t already, give the pilot a go! You won’t regret it.”

While someone else commented: “I discovered the first season late last year and it was genuinely a fun surprise. It’s really one of the best comedies of past few years. Most shows take a season or two to really find their groove. This show nails it from the word go.”

One person went so far as to say: “SO GOOD. I even have to pause and breathe and gauge it all as I watch the episodes. Great cast of course and the guest stars added more magic on this. The suspense, comedy, action, romance is combined perfectly. The only thing I am sad about is WHY IS IT JUST SIX EPS, MAN?? But yeah overall, it’s just a masterpiece.”
