Kodak Black’s Legal Problems Just Got MUCH Worse
Kodak Black is facing serious legal trouble once again after appearing in a Florida court over a felony MDMA trafficking charge that could reportedly carry years in prison if he’s convicted.

According to court records, the rapper — whose real name is Bill Kapri — turned himself in to authorities in Orlando earlier this week after an arrest warrant linked him to a November 2025 incident involving alleged gunfire near a children’s educational facility. Police say officers responding to the scene discovered luxury vehicles, smelled cannabis, and later found MDMA, cash, and personal items allegedly connected to Kodak Black.
The case quickly exploded online because prosecutors reportedly pushed for a higher bond partly due to Kodak’s lengthy criminal history, which includes multiple felony convictions and past weapons charges. A judge ultimately set bond at $75,000 before the rapper later bonded out of jail.
Kodak’s legal team is aggressively fighting the accusations, arguing the case has a weak legal basis and claiming the rapper was not even inside the vehicle where drugs were allegedly discovered. His attorney also criticized prosecutors for escalating the charge from simple possession to trafficking.

The arrest has reignited major debate online surrounding Kodak Black’s long history of legal problems, despite his successful rap career and high-profile pardon from President Donald Trump in 2021 following a federal firearms conviction.
Fans across social media are now split between those hoping the rapper finally turns his life around and others fearing this latest case could seriously damage his future both inside and outside the music industry. Meanwhile, Kodak has already pleaded not guilty and requested a jury trial as the case moves forward in Florida court.
