Britain’s Got Talent guest judge Stacey Solomon was reportedly left ‘really shocked’ and screaming in terror after an act in Blackpool took a terrifying turn.

The 36 year old stepped in as a judge when Simon Cowell was unable to attend due to an injury. However, the drama didn’t stop there on the renowned Britain’s Got Talent stage as filming for season 19 of the popular ITV show began in the Lancashire seaside resort. Stacey, sitting next to YouTube sensation KSI, was left horrified when a contestant ended up covered in blood.

According to reports, the contestant manoeuvred through a perilous tunnel fitted with hedge trimmers. While the act successfully completed the challenge, they emerged wounded and bleeding, reports the Mirror.

A source told The Sun: “He laughed it off like it wasn’t an issue, but was hiding his arm behind his back. When he let it drop, you could see blood covering his arm, and then he accidentally smeared it on his belly.

“Stacey seemed really shocked, especially when fellow judge KSI talked about giving it a go, and she begged him not to.”

This was not the only mishap that occurred during the filming of new episodes. Camera crews headed to Blackpool to film auditions – where husband and wife daredevil duo Alfredo and Oral Silva also experienced a slip-up.

The duo, who have previously featured on America’s Got Talent, captivate crowds with their knife-throwing performances. However, Alfredo is said to have misjudged one of his attempts, resulting in Coral suffering a cut to her hand.

A source claimed: “She decided to continue with their audition, but the crew were nervous something might go wrong again in front of the judges and the audience. Everyone was really twitchy backstage, but thankfully it went without a hitch the second time around.”

The Mirror has approached showmakers for comment. Dangerous acts have gone catastrophically wrong on Simon Cowell’s Got Talent franchise previously – most notably when escapologist Jonathan Goodwin was hospitalised in 2021.

The 45 year old Welshman was practising for America’s Got Talent: Extreme, where he intended to free himself from a straitjacket whilst dangling above two vehicles. Yet he was left confined to a wheelchair when the act went disastrously wrong.

Jonathan was trapped between the vehicles as they ignited – leaving him with third-degree burns, a fractured spine, and a severed spinal cord. He also fractured both shoulder blades, shattered bones in his legs and even lost a kidney.

Speaking on ITV’s Lorraine in May 2022, Jonathan remembered: “I said, ‘You have a get-out-of-jail-free card. If you want to walk away, I understand,’ and she told me not to be so stupid.”

Amanda shared, “We are closer and tighter than ever, and we have this unspoken thing. We said the other day that we are the people that are gonna say yes to stuff, life’s too short, be in the moment and grab it with both hands because you don’t know what’s around the corner.”
