CCTV footage captured Mendoza’s last appearance outside her house.

She was seen wearing baby blue pyjama shorts, a black hoodie and white shoes – and appeared to search for something inside her car.

But she never returned home while the car remained parked outside her house. She also left her phone behind.

Authorities believe she left on foot with only her car keys and possibly her driver’s license, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators described Mendoza as 5ft 4in tall, weighing about 110lb.

Concerns are now growing for the teenager over her sudden disappearance, which has sparked fears of foulplay.

Mum Rosario Olmos, said it was typical for her daughter to go for morning walks.

She told KSAT they had been sleeping together on early Christmas Eve morning – and felt her daughter getting out of the bed.

About 90 minutes later, Rosario woke up and realized her daughter was gone.

Rosario then made calls to her daughter’s boyfriend and father, who both claimed they hadn’t seen or heard from the teen.

A missing persons report was then filed with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, and a Coordinated Law Enforcement Adult Rescue (CLEAR) Alert was issued for the teen.

“I only ask God to please bring her back home,” Rosario Olmos told KENS5.

Over 100 people, including relatives 17 hours away, rushed to the San Antonio suburb to search for the missing teen, the New York Post reports.

Mendoza’s dad said: “It’s been real hard… please come home, daddy’s missing you.”
