Ms Ragland lives nearby the Sussexes in California
Princess Lilibet could be seen going for a swim with her grandmother, Doria Ragland, in Meghan Markle’s latest video.
The Duchess of Sussex offered followers a glimpse into family life on Sunday, posting a collection of videos and photographs to her Instagram story featuring her children with Prince Harry.
Among the footage was a heartwarming clip showing her mother, Ms Ragland, enjoying a swim with four-year-old Princess Lilibet at the family’s Montecito residence.
The 44-year-old panned her camera across the garden before capturing Ms Ragland and her granddaughter sitting together in the pool beneath clear blue skies.

Ms Ragland, a 69-year-old social worker who also resides in California, has become an increasingly visible presence in her daughter’s online content.
The grandmother joined the family for a pumpkin patch outing in October, appearing at the end of a video montage carving pumpkins alongside Archie and Lilibet.
She also made a rare appearance in Meghan’s Netflix docuseries With Love, Meghan, which aired in March 2025, where she was seen attending a celebration brunch prepared by the duchess.
Meghan marked her mother’s birthday in September with a brief clip showing her kissing Ragland’s head, captioned: “Happy Birthday to my beautiful mom!”

The video of Ms Ragland and Lilibet also revealed the property’s distinctive twin palm trees, which Harry has previously noted are joined at their base, telling his wife: “My love, it’s us.”
The six-year-old Prince Archie was captured feeding leaves to a black rhinoceros during a family excursion to The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens in Palm Desert.
A guide’s voice could be heard explaining details about the species, noting that black rhinos typically weigh around 3,000 pounds.
Meghan herself got involved with the animal encounters, with a photograph showing her offering lettuce to one of the zoo’s giraffes.

The outing appeared to be part of a broader family day, with Lilibet also featuring in footage holding a handwritten shopping list for a farmers’ market, decorated with colourful illustrations beside each item.
The Instagram story also featured the now-familiar dancing clip of Meghan and Harry swaying to Zara Larsson and Muni Long’s track Midnight Sun, which the duchess had previously shared in black and white on her main feed days earlier.
That earlier post revealed the footage had been captured by their daughter, with Meghan adding the caption: “When 2026 feels just like 2016… you had to be there.”
Accompanying the dancing video was a photograph from the couple’s early courtship, showing them together during a trip to Botswana in 2016, playing into the social media trend of reflecting on life a decade ago.
