Prince Harry sparks palace outrage with list of ‘Meghan demands’ ahead of UK return
The Duke of Sussex is coming back to the UK this summer, but he’s left the royals “outraged”, according to reports.

Prince Harry has allegedly left members of the Royal Family “outraged” after sending in a list of “demands” on behalf of his wife, Meghan Markle, ahead of his major trip back to the UK this summer, it has been claimed. The Duke of Sussex is expected to return to his home country in July to attend a one-year countdown event for the Invictus Games Birmingham 2027 and the WellChild awards. It has not been confirmed whether his wife will join him.
The Sussexes have not visited the UK as a family since 2022, when they all came back for the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. Harry and Meghan made another trip to the UK that year, a few months later, to attend the late Queen’s funeral.
Now, ahead of the Sussexes’ trip to the UK, reports claimed the couple have already “started to ruffle feathers” within the Palace, largely due to the Duke’s “string of demands”.

A source told Heatworld: “Harry is coming in with all these demands on behalf of Meghan, and it’s rubbing a lot of people up the wrong way.
“Harry says he has no choice, based on how badly things have gone in the past. The last thing he wants is Meghan walking into a situation where she feels judged, and he says all he’s asking is that she’s treated with basic respect and not cast as the bad guy before anything’s even happened.”
The source added that the Duke is caught in a “tricky” predicament, as he wants to keep his father on his side while also protecting his wife. But they said Harry’s move has not gone down well with the royals.
“The fact that, once again, it all centres around Meghan – and presumably ensuring she’s treated with kid gloves.”
It comes as during an interview while on a trip to Ukraine last month, Harry rejected claims that he is “not a working royal”.
Harry told ITV that he will always be part of the Royal Family and continue public service work.
He claimed that he sees himself as continuing the work he was “born to do,” saying he values humanitarian trips, the people he meets, and the ability to draw attention to issues that fall out of the news cycle when other events dominate.
