Is this season of Farmer Wants A Wife shorter than usual?
After the intruders entered the show only a couple of weeks into the season, long-time fans of the show were fair to complain about the pacing.
“Is it just me, or are we missing half the show?” one fan wrote online. “They seem to be flying through it. I’d like to see more of the [farmers] and [their] girls.”
This sentiment was also felt by the farmers themselves, as Farmer Zac and Dylan spoke to WHO about what the pace of filming was really like.
“It definitely did [fly], but I think there’s been a lot that’s been cut where it didn’t feel like that in the same breath,” Dylan said. “There is a lot of stuff that didn’t make it to the show.”
While joked that the elements flown past on the show “might not be as engaging for an audience as Miranda [on Farmer Zac’s farm]“, he agreed with fans that “it is moving quick.”
Zac echoed this feeling, revealing that while filming, he felt that “[everything was] moving so quickly.”
“And they’re like, ‘Well, you’ve been filming for this amount of time,’ and it’s like, ‘Wow, really? I feel like I’ve spent hardly any time with this person and that,” he told WHO.
“So, yeah, they are showing it, a lot does happen, and obviously you don’t get to see a fair bit of things as well, but yeah, definitely was moving very quick and it feels like they’re showing it that way too.”
When do episodes of Farmer Wants A Wife air?
This season premiered later than usual, causing quite the upset for fans who were more than ready for some farm life romance to hit their screens in April, 2026.
Premiering on June 8, the show opened with three drama-filled episodes as contestants seemed to be leaving farms before farmers could make any decisions.
Since then, episodes have been dropping on Sunday at 7:00 PM and Monday at 7:30 PM on Channel 7 and 7plus.
When is the finale for Farmer Wants A Wife 2026?
According to previous seasons of Farmer Wants A Wife, the show usually runs for just under 2 months, with last year’s season starting on April 21 and ending in a two-part finale across June 16 and 17.
While a recent TV Guide spoiler about Farmer Alex’s decision to leave the farm has fans predicting the show’s end in the next week, it’s too early to assume that the finale is that close.
Channel 7 is yet to confirm the dates for the Farmer Wants A Wife finale, and so it’s safe to assume we have a couple more weeks of farmer drama to look forward to!
