Cardi B has given fans a first glimpse into the name of her newborn son, just days after confirming the birth of her fourth child — her first with boyfriend Stefon Diggs.
The 33-year-old rapper, who announced the arrival of her baby on Instagram just a day earlier, hinted at her son’s name during an interview with Highsnobiety at the CYBEX Global boutique opening in New York City on Thursday. Cardi B, already a mother to three children with ex Offset — Kulture, seven, Wave, four, and Blossom, one — confirmed in a clip shared on the publication’s Instagram page that she had welcomed a boy.
“I’m not sharing the name yet,” Cardi B said, teasing fans by adding, “It’s cute.” She also offered some insight into her fourth pregnancy, noting that she had been on bed rest because, as she put it, “that baby — oh. That baby was heavy.”

Discussing her personal style post-pregnancy, Cardi joked, “I dress like — when was the last time I ain’t had a kid? Before I was 25.” She also spoke about wanting to inspire her children to stand up for themselves: “I will stand up for myself. Sometimes people be like, ‘Oh no, avoid it.’ No, I will stand up for myself. Then my kids can see that they mama ain’t no punk.”
At the boutique opening, Cardi B wore a striking black puffer ensemble with a corset wrapped around her midriff, complemented by a greenish-blue cap featuring a large black bow.
The rapper first confirmed her fourth pregnancy in September during a CBS Mornings appearance, sharing that she was expecting with Stefon Diggs, the New England Patriots wide receiver. She reflected on balancing her career and pregnancy, saying, “I’ve been putting in all this work, but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby. I’m happy I feel like I’m in a good space.” Cardi added that she and Stefon are supportive of each other, both striving to be the best in their respective fields, with Stefon helping her feel “safe, confident, and strong.”
Cardi B officially shared the news of the baby’s birth on Instagram, celebrating the “next era” in her life. She wrote, “My life has always been a combination of different chapters and different seasons. My last chapter was the beginning of a new season. Starting over is never easy but it’s been so worth it! I brought new music and a new album to the world! A new baby into my world, and one more reason to be the best version of me, one more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else so I can continue giving my babies the love and life they deserve.”
The rapper also revealed she’s preparing for her upcoming Little Miss Drama Tour, set to kick off on February 11, 2025, in Palm Desert, California, sharing that nothing will stop her from giving fans “the performance of a lifetime.”
Cardi and Stefon’s romance first sparked rumors in October 2024, with the couple later appearing together at a nightclub in February 2025. They attended the 2025 Met Gala separately but joined the after-party together, and soon after made their relationship Instagram official with snaps on a yacht. Stefon, who has an eight-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, has been a supportive partner throughout Cardi’s pregnancy and career milestones.
Previously, Cardi B had an on-and-off relationship with Offset, dating him since 2017 and secretly marrying that same year. The couple welcomed three children together, though in August 2024, Cardi filed for divorce from Offset prior to announcing her pregnancy with her third child. Cardi later described the divorce as far from peaceful, citing ongoing court matters.
Amid all this, Stefon Diggs also recently discovered he is the father of another child, an Instagram model’s daughter, after a paternity test. Through it all, Cardi B continues to embrace her new chapter with positivity, determination, and focus on her growing family.
