Meghan Markle could star in a huge movie as the chance of a Hollywood comeback edges nearer. The Duchess of Sussex, who was an actress before marrying Prince Harry in 2018, could return to the big screens soon, it has been revealed.

This is because the series Suits, which Meghan used to star on, could return to screens with a spin-off movie. It is believed that this could see actors and actresses from the series reunite.

 

As Meghan played paralegal Rachel Zane in the hit show, she could therefore be back playing that iconic role.

 

This new information is understood by The Express, following TV insider claims that bosses of the Suits show are keen to “cash in” on the legal drama’s huge streaming revival.

This is because the series, which ended a few years ago, is remaining very popular on Netflix.

As well as the potential of starring in the movie, sources close to the discussions about the potential spin-off film also believe producers may consider offering Meghan a co-executive producer role.

This would be very appealing to the duchess, as it would result in a big income to help her and Prince Harry continue funding their lavish Montecito lifestyle.

It is believed Meghan was very happy working on the hit series before, but gave it up to marry Harry in 2018.

When asked about leaving acting behind in the couple’s engagement interview, Meghan said: “I don’t see it as giving anything up, I just see it as a change. It’s a new challenge.

“And also keep in mind I have been working on my show for seven years. So we’re very, very fortunate to be able to have that sort of longevity on a series and for me, once we hit the 100-episode marker I thought you know what I have I have ticked this box and I feel really proud of the work I’ve done there and now it’s time to, as you said, work as a team with you [Harry].”

Meghan has not officially commented on the rumours.

The Daily Express has approached the duchess for comment.
