When Calls the Heart co-stars and real-life couple Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace had some exciting news to share with Hearties. They announced that they’re expecting their first child together.

Baby Makes Three

On Tuesday, November 11, McGarry and Wallace posted a photo of themselves on Instagram in front of beautifully lit Christmas trees. They were already in the holiday spirit because they had exciting news to share with Hearties.

In the photo, McGarry embraced Wallace’s baby bump. The caption reads, “We can’t wait to meet you, baby.♥️Premiering 2026.” The moment that the post went live, they got support from their WCTH and Hallmark co-stars.

Lacey Chabert, the Queen of Christmas and Hallmark, excitedly commented, “The most wonderful news! So happy for you!!! ” Jonathan Bennett, who is the host of Finding Mr. Christmas, commented, “Congrats!!!!”

Tiera Skovbye, who appeared on WCTH Season 12, “You guys!!!!! ” Erin Krakow exclaimed, “I can’t wait to snuggle this little McGarry!!! ” while Pascale Hutton commented, “Huge congratulations!!! (Also- love the pic )”

Fans and stars alike agree this was the best news ever. It’s also much-needed news in a time when there’s so much sadness and bad news to be found. The couple was able to keep their pregnancy news a secret until they were ready to announce it to the world.

Wallace recently attended Paris Fashion Week in October, where she cleverly concealed her baby bump. She shared photos of herself wearing an oversized double-breasted blazer, which she paired with a matching skirt and dark shades.

More Good News For Hearties

This announcement follows McGarry and Krakow’s appearance in a promo for the upcoming season of WCTH. Season 13 has finally been given a premiere date.

On Saturday, November 8, the two appeared during the premiere of Christmas Above the Clouds. The two were dressed as their characters from Hope Valley.

McGarry sported his real-life mustache. Krakow and McGarry teased that one of them had a big question to ask this season. This comes amid the rumors that Elizabeth and Nathan could get married in Season 13.

The graphic at the end of the promo revealed that Season 13 will premiere in January 2026. In addition to the baby news and the premiere of WCTH, Wallace’s cowboy drama, Landman Season 2, premieres on November 16, 2025.
