Fiona Bruce has got a large list of TV shows behind her after she began her career at the BBC in 1989.

Known for her time on Question Time, Crimewatch, and Antiques Roadshow, to name a few, Fiona has well and truly made a name for herself within the corporation. She started her career working as a researcher in 1989 aged 25.

Fiona later moved to working on BBC Breakfast, BBC News at Six, BBC News at Ten, and Newsnight, before she landed solo presenting roles later in her career. The presenter became one of the first women to present on the BBC’s flagship news programmes in a role equivalent to her male colleagues.

Over the last 33 years, she’s only grown in her career, and it’s seen her bring home an incredible salary, last reported to be in the range of £410,000-£419,999. But can you remember what she looked like when she first came on screen? We’re going to take it back!

Outside of her regular TV gigs, Fiona also attends glamorous events and red carpets to make up her busy schedule; in this photo she was seen attending the English National Ballet and looking very glamorous while doing so, the glitz of her outfit was certainly very different to what viewers are used to seeing when she’s presenting.

In 2011 Fiona went makeup free for Children in Need’s “bearfaced” with No7 campaign and her fans saw a side they don’t often see. Away from her dolled-up presenting position, Fiona went for comfortable clothing and removed all manner of makeup to support the campaign.
