Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have raised money for charity by auctioning off tickets for someone to attend a dinner with them. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who stepped back from royal life in 2020, have reportedly auctioned off tickets to the highest bidder, with each ticket going for around £75,000.

The couple have reportedly used the company CharityBuzz to raise funds for their charity Archewell. Other celebrities who are auctioning off dinners with themselves to help raise money for charity include Actor LeVar Burton and Actor Steven Bauer. The bidders are aware of which charity the money will go to when they place a bid.

A spokesman for Archewell confirmed: “We have partnered with numerous fundraising partners over the years, and CharityBuzz has been one of them.”

As reported by The Daily Mail, a source stated that Archewell utilised the company CharityBuzz to support a fundraising dinner in celebration of World Mental Health Day.

Harry, 41, and Meghan, 44, have not publicly announced that they were auctioning off a dinner with themselves to raise money for charity.

However, talking about their fundraising with CharityBuzz, one source told The Daily Mail: “People will pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to have dinner with them.”

It has not been confirmed who the highest bidder was or where the dinner will take place.

However, the funds raised are likely to do a great deal for charity.
