Jack Grealish is set to undergo a medical with Everton on Monday after the Toffees struck a deal to sign the winger on a season-long loan deal from Man City.
The 29-year-old is widely expected to complete a sensational move to Merseyside, with bookmaker Betfair suspending all bets on the Englishman’s future as a result.
He has long been expected to leave Man City this summer, after he was left out of Pep Guardiola‘s squad for the FIFA Club World Cup.
Everton have been leading the race to sign Grealish, who earns a reported £300,000-a-week.
The Toffees are hopeful of concluding a deal for the England international, who has fallen out of favour with Pep Guardiola.
Grealish made 32 appearances in all competitions last season for Man City, but only half came as starts.
The winger started just seven of Man City’s Premier League matches.

Guardiola had earlier this year called for Grealish to return to his Treble-winning form
Betfair spokesperson Sam Rosbottom said: ‘Having looked likely to be making the move to Merseyside in the past few days, being backed in at 1/6, Jack Grealish looks set to join Everton with betting now suspended on the England international making the move.
‘Everton’s move to a new stadium would be accompanied by a potential marquee signing in the form of Grealish. Odds of reaching the top six are 10/1 for the Toffees, with David Moyes hoping to take the club back to the highs he enjoyed in his first stint as boss, although relegation remains a prospect at 7/1.’
Grealish had joined Man City from Aston Villa in a then British record £100m move back in 2021.
He has since made 157 appearances for the club, scoring 17 goals and providing 23 assists.
Grealish has won three Premier League titles, the Champions League and FA Cup during his time at the club.
This included being a major part of their Treble winning squad in the 2022-23 season.
He was also a part of their 2023 UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup winning squads.
Guardiola admitted earlier this year that he wanted Grealish to rediscover his form from the Treble winning campaign.
‘Do I want the Jack that won the Treble? Yeah I want it, but I try to be honest with myself for that,’ Guardiola said in January.
‘They have to fight. You can say it’s unfair. OK, if you think that, then it’s fine, but you have to prove [to me], ‘OK, I’m going to fight with Savinho, to deserve to play in that position’, every single day, every single week and every single month.

Grealish last played for England back in September and will be eager to win back his place
‘I don’t have any doubt about the quality of Jack or any of these players. They would not be here [otherwise].
‘I fought a lot for him, fought a lot to be here. I know that he can do it because I saw him. I saw his level and I want that, every single training session and every single game.’
Moyes, who has pushed for Everton to move for Grealish, had previously spoken glowingly of the winger when he played for Aston Villa.
Speaking in 2021, Moyes had claimed Grealish was ‘probably the best player in the Premier League right now’, he has starred for his boyhood club.
Grealish would be a marquee arrival for Everton as the club move into the Hill Dickinson Stadium, their 52,769-capacity home at Bramley-Moore Dock.
The England international has previously admitted he was ‘absolutely heartbroken’ to have missed out on the Three Lions squad for last summer’s European Championships.
A move to Everton could offer a boost to Grealish’s hopes of forcing his way into Thomas Tuchel’s England set-up ahead of next summer’s World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Grealish has won 39 England caps to date, but has not been part of Tuchel’s squad to date.
His last appearance came during Lee Carsley’s spell as interim manager back in September.
