Now entering its fourth record-breaking year, Peter’s live run has become one of the most successful in British comedy tour history. He holds the record as the only artist in the world to have performed a monthly residency at London’s The O2, which began in 2022.

About the tour’s support for the 12 charities, Peter said: “It’s been the greatest privilege of my life to perform for audiences up and down the country. I’ve been completely overwhelmed by the support over the years, and it feels right to give something back. Every single penny of profit from these final shows will go to help fight cancer and support those affected.

Unfortunately, just about everyone knows someone who’s been affected by one of the cancers on that list. I really hope people can get behind this — come out, have a great night, share a few laughs, and do something good for charity at the same time. It’s a win–win.

You don’t even have to like me — raising money for these twelve charities goes far beyond that. Together, we really can make a difference.”

Peter Kay and The Brain Tumour Charity

Peter is one of the UK’s most beloved and successful comedians – a national treasure on stage and screen.

He remains a close friend of the Nuttall family and supported Laura Nuttall (pictured), who was one of our Young Ambassadors and a phenomenal supporter of The Charity, when she was going through treatment over the years before she sadly died in May 2023.

Laura and her family even managed to coax Peter Kay out of retirement to perform sell-out ‘Doing it For Laura’ gigs at Manchester’s O2 Apollo in 2021.

Laura’s mum Nicola, said: “We’re so grateful to Peter for all he’s done and continues to do to support the brain tumour community. He’s absolutely our national treasure.”

Dr Michele Afif, CEO of The Brain Tumour Charity, said: Peter Kay is one of the UK’s most beloved and successful comedians, a national treasure of stage and screen.

“The Brain Tumour Charity is dedicated to supporting everyone affected by a brain tumour diagnosis, funding ground-breaking research to get us closer to finding kinder and more effective treatments for use here in the UK and internationally.

“Including us as one of the charities benefitting from the proceeds of his 2026 tour, will be instrumental in our ability to bring about much needed change for the whole brain tumour community.  Having Peter stand alongside us in this effort means so much.  Thank you, Peter for your incredible support.”
