Actress Kianna Underwood, who notably appeared on Nickelodeon’s All That as a child, was killed in a hit-and-run incident on Friday, Jan. 16. She was 33.

Underwood was crossing the intersection of Watkins Street and Pitkin Avenue in the Brownsville neighborhood of Brooklyn, N.Y., when a black Ford SUV hit her around 6:50 a.m. local time, the New York Police Department (NYPD) confirmed to PEOPLE.

She was then “subsequently struck by a black and gray sedan,” authorities said, adding that Underwood was pronounced dead at the scene.

The drivers of both vehicles did not stay on the scene, and they have not been identified, according to police.

“There are no arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing by the NYPD Highway District’s Collision Investigation Squad,” the NYPD said.

She voiced Fuschia Glover for 23 episodes from 1999 to 2004 in Little Bill, and later appeared in The 24 Hour Woman, in which she starred opposite Rosie Perez, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Patti LuPone and more.

She also had a minor role in Death of a Dynasty, a satirical comedy about the hip-hop industry, starring Kevin Hart. Outside of her onscreen roles, Underwood spent a year on stage, performing as little Inez during the first national tour of Hairspray.
