Some relationships never really leave pop culture’s group chat, and 50 Cent and Vivica A. Fox’s early-2000s romance is one of them.
More than two decades after their highly publicized relationship, the rapper and TV mogul is looking back with a mix of humor, hindsight, and surprisingly good energy.

During a recent appearance on “Sherri,” 50 suggested their brief romance in 2003 happened at exactly the right moment.
According to the entertainment mogul, the timing mattered just as much as the connection. He likened the relationship to hitting the jackpot at the casino, less about permanence, more about being present when the moment was right.
Still, the reflection took an awkward turn when the “Get Rich Or Die Tryin” star was shown a throwback clip of Fox recalling what she remembers most about their relationship, mentioning their “fat orgasms.”
Visibly uncomfortable, he later responded online with his signature humor, joking that while he still has love for her, it’s been over 20 years.
Fox, meanwhile, addressed the renewed attention during her own appearance on “Sherri,” clarifying comments she made last month at the Chicago Ultimate Women’s Expo, where she jokingly warned women not to date rappers or 50 Cent specifically.
The remark sparked playful back-and-forth online, but Fox said it wasn’t meant as shade.
The “Kill Bill” actress explained that her advice came from a reflective place, imagining what she would tell her teenage self now.
Looking back, she wishes she had moved more slowly, kept the relationship private, and avoided a breakup that’s lingered in the public eye for decades.
The 61-year-old made it clear she wasn’t issuing a hard rule. With a laugh, she added that she never said people couldn’t have fun, drawing cheers from the audience.
She also acknowledged 50’s recent response to her comments, including his viral Matrix-themed joke, and confirmed that the two have finally reached a peaceful understanding after years of public tension.
