Prince Harry got candid in a new interview filmed during his latest trip to the U.K.

On July 13, the Joe Marler Will See You Now podcast dropped an episode featuring the Duke of Sussex, 41, as its guest. The show, hosted by former English rugby union player and Celebrity Traitors alum, previously revealed that Prince Harry would be a guest in a teaser released last week on Friday, July 10.

The interview was seemingly filmed during Prince Harry’s trip to his home country last week, as the podcast is primarily recorded at the Kennington Podcast Studios in London.

A Spotify logline for the Joe Marler Will See You Now podcast says that the host plays “unqualified but oddly persuasive pseudo-psychologist” on the series and “attempts to get inside the mind of a different celebrity” via “unconventional” methods every episode.

Prince Harry sat across from Marler for the interview, and they started with the basics. Harry was asked to introduce himself by his full name: “Henry Albert Charles David, Duke of Sussex.”

When asked his occupation, the Duke of Sussex answered, “Full-time dad. British Army veteran. Prince of England. Duke. But for today, I don’t know. What do you want?” before settling on “Duke.”

Marler asked if he’d call himself an “inventor,” referring to the Invictus Games, to which Harry corrected to “founder.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped back from their roles as working members of the royal family in 2020 and relocated to California. However, they retained their titles as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Marler also asked the Duke of Sussex, “If you could swap lives with one other famous Harry, just for one day, who would you choose out of Harry Styles, Harry Kane or Harry Potter?” referring to the British musician, Team England soccer captain and boy wizard from the book series of the same name.

“Kane, on a winning day… You don’t want to be Kane on a losing day, do you?” Prince Harry said about the soccer star, who’s currently in the global spotlight as England continues in the World Cup. The Duke of Sussex also agreed when probed about whether he thinks the trophy is “coming home” to England this year.

The show, co-hosted by Jake Bhardwaj, also welcomed the Duke of Sussex’s close friend, former Royal Marines Commando and Invictus Games gold medalist JJ Chalmers.

“So glad you’re here. It’s been weird,” Prince Harry said to his pal.

When Chalmers asked if they were doing “couples’ therapy,” Harry replied, “Now you’ve made it even more weird.”

They went on to chat about the Invictus Games, which is part of the reason Harry was back in the U.K. last week. He attended events promoting the next edition of the adaptive sports tournament for service personnel and veterans, which will be held in Birmingham in 2027.

He continued with the trip alone after he and Meghan switched their plans to visit his homeland as a family after a lengthy back and forth with Buckingham Palace about the security provisions for them and their children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5. The family has lived in California since 2020, and Harry and Meghan lost their state-funded security protection in his home country after stepping back from their royal roles in the U.K. that same year.

On July 10, Prince Harry, Meghan, Archie and Lili had a landmark reunion with King Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House, the King’s private country home.

The meeting marked the first time that the Duchess of Sussex, 44, and the kids saw King Charles and Queen Camilla since 2022, and no photos or further details were released from the private family occasion.
