GB News hosts Patrick Christys and Emily Carver shared a new picture of their baby son, George, on The People’s Channel today as they prepare to celebrate their first Christmas as a family.
The image showed George resting in his basket in front of a roaring fire, with the family dog, Bob, sitting close by.
Emily joked that Bob was “no longer the baby of the family” and was still adjusting to the new arrival.
The pair laughed that George and Bob do not interact much yet, though they hope the two will become friends in time.
The festive moment was shared as the presenters read out Christmas messages from GB News viewers.
Patrick and Emily hosted the Christmas Eve edition of Breakfast this morning in a rare appearance as co-hosts.
George Alexander Peter Christys was born in the early hours of Friday, September 5, this year.
At the end of September, returning to Britain’s News Channel for the first time since the birth, Emily said: “I was induced a little bit early because they were worried that maybe he was measuring a little small, so they wanted to get him out.

“It was very, very painful indeed. But I did finally get an epidural towards the end. He weighed six and a half pounds.”
Patrick said: “I was in awe of Emily. She basically did all of it on two paracetamol until right in the end. It was incredible.
“It was amazing to watch and just to be there, I felt very sorry for you.”
He added: “We should thank, and want to thank, all of the GB News viewers and listeners who’ve been sending us stuff.
