Jack Osbourne is left seething as he struggles his way through I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! trial Dangerous Discoveries.

In a first look at the new episode of the ITV reality competition, hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly take a swipe at his performance.

Jack, 40, will take on the trial on Wednesday night’s episode of the hit series, which sees him lying in a pit and covered in critters and crawlers.

The media personality, who is the son of late rockstar Ozzy Osbourne and his wife, X Factor star Sharon, 73, will be tasked with fishing out stars from a series of holes.

Ant and Dec watch on as he struggles to find the ‘ancient star’, which he must put inside a pouch worn on his chest to win meals for the camp.

‘You see, I prefer this Jack than in water,’ Ant says, referencing one Jack’s previous trials that saw him submerged in a water tank, to which Dec replies: ‘He is very good in water. He may have found his nemesis. Sand.’

‘You’re going to have to try and speed up a bit Jack,’ Ant encourages him, as Jack responds: ‘I’m trying – moving gingerly.’

To which Ant quips back at him, poking fun at Jack’s co-star AngryGinge: ‘He’s not here is he? He’s not in the hell hole, is he?’

‘Come on, where is this thing?’ Jack continues as he struggles, frowning and adding: ‘I am not doing good. Maybe if I was under water I could do it quicker.’

It comes after Jack left Ant and Dec in awe and proved  that he is just as resilient as his late father Ozzy as he took part in the Down The Hatch trial last week.

The Osbournes star could be seen taking a deep breath as he quite literally went down a hatch and into a submerged cage in the Bushtucker Trial.

The trail involved a number of hatches filled with the likes of water pythons that Jack had to go into for two minutes a pop in a bid to win a star.

‘He must be getting tired,’ Dec could be seen telling Ant as the pair looked on in awe at Jack’s performance. Ant admitted: ‘But he seems very calm though.’

The presenters’ amazement continued as Jack calmly unscrewed the star in a first-look clip, despite being submerged at a significant depth.

Putting a hand on his head in sheer amazement, Dec said: ‘He’s going to do it in one breath!’

Jack has impressed viewers since he entered the jungle earlier this month with his sheer willingness to get stuck into the more difficult aspects of jungle life – despite growing up in luxury.

He has also tugged on viewers’ heartstrings by candidly opening up about his late father, Ozzy, who passed away in July at the age of 76 just weeks after performing at his farewell concert in his hometown of Birmingham.

Jack shot to fame alongside his older sister Kelly, 41, when they appeared alongside their parents in the hit MTV reality show The Osbournes between 2002 and 2005.

However, the jungle has taken a physical toll on the star, who recently admitted that he and his fellow celebs have been losing a lot of weight.

Jack revealed the brutal side effects of his weight loss while in the I’m A Celebrity jungle after being left in agony amid ‘malnutrition’ fears.

The 40-year-old appeared on last Monday’s episode of ITV2’s programme I’m a Celebrity… Unpacked to answer some viewers questions.

Jack confessed that he would smuggle in a camping chair because he and his co-stars cannot bear to sit on the hard logs anymore due to having ‘chafed a****’ from shifting the pounds.

One viewer asked: ‘If you could sneak one thing into camp, what would it be?’

Jack said: ‘I think I would probably sneak in a really comfy camping chair.

‘Although it would be next to impossible to sneak in because the logs are so uncomfortable, and as we’re all losing weight, we have no a***.

‘And so we all just have bruised, chafed a**** from sitting on the logs.’

The star also revealed his ‘stomach muscles hurt’ due to not eating enough.

Another viewer called Paige asked him what his ‘best memory’ has been so far, to which Jack said: ‘I think my best memory probably will be just laughing. Like I’ve laughed so much.

‘My stomach muscles hurt, but that could also be malnutrition.’
