Rapper J. Cole addressed rumors of retirement during a new episode of Talk With Flee, hosted by Cam’Ron, just days after releasing his highly anticipated album, The Fall Off. Fans have speculated that the project might mark the end of Cole’s recording career, but he offered a measured response.

When Cam’Ron’s assistant Taylor asked if he was seriously considering stepping away from hip-hop, Cole left the door open for the future. J. Cole originally promoted his latest album as his last for over 10 years.

“If that’s my last album, I’m cool,” he said. “If I get inspired in a year, two years, five years, ten years to do another album, I’m not going to fight the feeling.”

Cole explained that recent experiences have rekindled his creative drive. “Because of what happened two years ago, I’m very inspired right now,” he added. “I fell back in love with this sh*t.”
