Jack Osbourne has spoken publicly about the passing of his father, the legendary Ozzy Osbourne — and the moment left the room in silence.
In a deeply emotional interview with Eddie Kadi, Jack could barely hold back tears as he faced the still-raw pain of losing a man who had defined his world since childhood.
“It’s really fresh,” he admitted, pausing as he tried to steady his voice. “I still walk into rooms and think, ‘Where’s my guy?’”
It wasn’t just the grief of losing a parent — it was losing a presence. A force. A character so large that the world always seemed a little louder, brighter, and more unpredictable when he was in it.

Eddie gently leaned in and asked the question every grieving child knows all too well:
“What do you miss the most about your pops?”
Jack took a moment. His eyes filled, his lips trembled, and then came a description so powerful, it instantly painted a picture only a son could see:
“His energy. He had this force – it was like he swallowed the galaxy and didn’t know what to do with it. That’s the only way I can describe him.”
He laughed through the tears at the next memory — the jokes, the dry humor, the mischief that Ozzy carried even into late life.
“I definitely miss his jokes,” he added, shaking his head with a soft smile that said everything grief can’t.
For decades, the world saw Ozzy Osbourne as the Godfather of Heavy Metal — wild, unpredictable, the man who changed rock forever.
But to Jack, he was something much simpler and infinitely deeper:
His dad.
His compass.
His galaxy.
Jack went on to reflect on how strange the world feels without him. The silence. The “emptiness where noise used to be.” The moments when he instinctively wants to call, share a story, ask advice — and can’t.
Yet despite the pain, the love in Jack’s words was unmistakable. A father lost — but never gone. A legend to the world — but a hero to his son.
And in that interview, Jack let the world see something Ozzy fans have always known:
Behind the rock star was a man full of life, love, and cosmic energy — and behind the man was a family who loved him more than the world ever could.
