Police have seized a vehicle of interest as part of their ongoing search for missing South Australian woman Trisha Graf – marking a major breakthrough in their renewed investigation.

Major Crime Investigation Branch, STAR Group, Far North and State Operations Support Branch officers and SES members have examined 315 points of interest over the past two days as part of their search for Ms Graf, 41.

She was last seen in the early hours of December 12, 2025 in the remote SA mining town of Andamooka around 2am.

Her car was found by friends hunting for her some 10 hours later, but she was nowhere to be found.

The renewed police investigation has resulted in officers combing through mine shafts and disused diggings.

In a new statement issued on Thursday afternoon, South Australia police said they had seized one vehicle of interest in Andamooka, which was now being forensically examined.

“While no evidence was recovered during the ground searches, police have not ruled out returning to the area as the investigation continues,” police said in a statement.

Police had earlier combed through a septic tank at a property near her last known whereabouts on February 23 – but recovered no evidence.

Treacherous weather conditions then curtailed the search efforts until after the weekend.

This week, they will be turning their attentions to searching mine shafts close to home east of Andamooka.

On the night of her disappearance, Ms Graf visited the Roxy Downs hotel, leaving a short while after 12.19am in her white 2012 Ford Territory, bearing the registration S254BCX.

She is known to have struck a kangaroo in her car a short while later, close to the Andamooka Township.

Ms Graf continued her journey and visited a friend in the town, before last being seen driving along Dunstan Drive at about 2am.

Her car was found perched on a dirt mount near the Blue Dam, east of Andamooka.
