After serving more than 15 years behind bars, Max B — the self-proclaimed “Wave God” of Hip-hop — has officially regained his freedom, marking one of the most anticipated comebacks in recent rap history. But what should have been a moment of celebration quickly turned into a new chapter of online drama when 50 Cent seized the opportunity to reignite his long-standing feud with Jim Jones.

50 Cent Trolls Jim Jones With “Snitch” Memes
Early Monday morning, 50 Cent sent social media into chaos with a string of sarcastic Instagram posts. One featured a still from the classic film Belly, showing the character Rico (played by Tyrin Turner) eating a banana — an image often used to symbolize someone “about to snitch.” The rapper labeled the photo “Jim Jones,” reviving old rumors that Jones had cooperated with authorities, a claim 50 Cent has repeatedly hinted at over the years.
To make things worse, 50 Cent also shared a short clip of Max B calling DJ Whoo Kid — a longtime G-Unit associate — with the caption:
“Nas said Max home, Harbor packed, jimmy about to drop a dime on these [nas] LOL.”
During the call, Max B gave a shoutout to “Boo Boo” (50 Cent’s nickname for himself), adding fuel to the fire and signaling a friendly connection between the two.
Max B Seeks to End the Feud
Ironically, while 50 Cent seems eager to stir the pot, Max B himself has made it clear he wants to move on. Before his release, he called into the Drink Champs podcast and expressed a desire to bury the hatchet with Jim Jones.
“Look, Jim said a lot of harsh things about me — even wished me dead at one point,” Max B admitted. “But it’s all good. I’m over it. I’m a new man now. I’ve got a family, I’ve grown up, and I just want to make money, live life, and enjoy the rest of my time.”
The Beef That Never Dies
50 Cent’s decision to use Max B’s homecoming as ammunition against Jim Jones highlights how personal rivalries in Hip-hop often transcend music and become tools for attention and influence.
While Max B aims for peace and a fresh start, 50 Cent clearly has no plans to “close the chapter.” Jim Jones has yet to respond publicly, but the Hip-hop community is watching closely to see whether Max B’s comeback will help heal one of the East Coast’s longest-running feuds — or whether 50 Cent’s trolling will spark another full-blown rap war online.
