COPS have charged a man with murder after the death of a 52-year-old woman while another victim was injured in a double stabbing.
Officers were called at 8.19am on August 18 to an address on Askew Road in Shepherd’s Bush, West London, following reports of a stabbing.

A woman, aged 52, was sadly pronounced dead despite the best efforts of emergency services at the scene.
The victim has now been named as Samantha Turner.

She remains in hospital and continues to be assessed.
A murder investigation was launched, and a man was arrested at the scene.
Alan Dore, from Shepherd’s Bush, was charged on August 19 with murder and attempted murder.
He is due to appear at Hendon Magistrates’ Court on August 20.
Detective Inspector Richard MacKenzie, who is leading the investigation, said at the time: “Our enquiries continue at pace as we work to establish the full circumstances of this deeply tragic incident.
“Our thoughts are with the family and loved ones of the victim and injured woman.
“We believe this to be an isolated incident within a residential address, but we know it will cause concern locally.
“Our officers will remain in the area throughout today.
“We will update the community when we can, and I encourage anyone with any information, CCTV or doorbell camera footage which could support the investigation to contact us.”
