🙏 HUGE HEALTH UPDATE — LITTLE BOY THROWN INTO UK CROCODILE ENCLOSURE REACHES MAJOR MILESTONE IN RECOVERY

The three-year-old was attacked by at least one crocodile.

A three-year-old boy was critically injured after being thrown into a zoo’s crocodile enclosure.

A toddler who was injured after allegedly being thrown into a crocodile enclosure is no longer in a critical condition.

Local police issued the health update after the three-year-old boy was attacked by at least one crocodile last Thursday.

The boy had been at the Johnsons of Old Hurst zoo in Cambridgeshire with his family when he was allegedly thrown by a stranger into a habitat housing multiple crocodiles.

The zoo owner’s wife, Tracey Johnson, jumped into the enclosure to rescue the child, The Sun reported.

The young child sustained critical injuries and was treated at the scene before being raced to hospital.

On Monday, a police spokesperson told media “the boy is no longer critical and is in a stable condition in hospital”.

Police arrested and bailed a 30-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder.

The suspect is believed to have learning disabilities and had been on a trip to the zoo with carers, according to the BBC.

In a statement posted to social media, Johnsons of Old Hurst said its Tropical House, where the crocodiles are housed, would remain closed until further notice “out of respect to the family”.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the boy and his family following the incident that occurred today,” the statement reads.

“If you have any questions about the incident, please direct inquiries to Cambridgeshire Police Constabulary.
