A mother has died after falling from a slide at an amusement park in Colombia.

On Thursday, March 5, Yuris Cristel Camila García Manrique was fatally injured while riding a giant slide at the tourist site Entre Flores in Chinácota, according to El Tiempo and La Prensa.

In footage obtained by the outlets, Manrique, 28, is seen wearing a helmet and sitting on a tire at the top of the slide. Before going down it, she appeared to ask an attendant, “Is someone going to meet me?” The worker allegedly responded to her reassuringly, saying, “Yes, don’t be afraid.”

Manrique is then seen going down the slide at increasing speed before eventually falling off the structure. Screams are heard at the bottom of the slide as a voice asks, “Did she fall off?”

Manrique fell off the slide at the bend of the structure towards the bottom, plunging around 15ft before crashing to the ground, The U.S. Sun reported.
