Princess Charlotte is heading into a new year.

On Saturday, May 2, Kate Middleton and Prince William’s only daughter celebrated her 11th birthday.

To mark the occasion, Kate, 44, and William, 43, shared a new video of Princess Charlotte on Instagram, thanking well-wishers for their messages.

“Thank you for the lovely birthday messages for Princess Charlotte,” they wrote alongside a video featuring clips of their daughter. “11 today!”

Set to calming background music, the video showed Charlotte petting the family’s two cocker spaniels, Orla and Otto, as they affectionately looked up at her.

Princess Charlotte could then be seen cuddling one of the dogs on a boat.

The Prince and Princess of Wales’ daughter was also seen writing a message with seashells at the beach, as well as running barefoot and playing cricket in the sand, in the footage shared.

Charlotte is the middle child of the royal couple’s three children. Prince William and Princess Kate are also parents to sons Prince George, 12, and Prince Louis, 8.
