A young Aussie mum is fighting for life in a Bali hospital after being hit by a truck, with her family making a heartrending plea for help to bring her home.

Alivia Campbell, 28, suffered catastrophic injuries after the motorbike she was on collided with a truck.

Her sister Amanda has opened up about the ordeal on social media.

“My beautiful sister Alivia is currently in hospital in Bali in a critical condition,” she wrote on Facebook. .

“Our family’s world has been turned upside down as we try to support her and bring her home to Australia.”

Alivia’s friend Reese Campbell, who has established a GoFundMe campaign to help get her home to NSW, revealed the extent of the “devoted” mother of two’s injuries.

“Alivia is currently in hospital in critical condition, suffering from a severe brain trauma and a broken pelvis. She is fighting hard, but she has a long road ahead of her,” Reese wrote.

“Alivia is not only a friend to so many of us — she is also a devoted mother to two young daughters who need their mum home. Right now, her family and friends are doing everything they can to support her recovery and bring her back to Australia safely once she is stable enough to travel.”

Reese said the GoFundMe had been set up to cover the “overwhelming” medical expenses and the cost of getting her safely home”.

“Every donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference for Alivia and her family during this heartbreaking time.”

Another friend, Tiarn Green, said Alivia was “an extremely strong girl, but has 2 beautiful little girls at home who need her”.

On Monday, Berkley Vale Community Preschool, where one of Alivia’s daughters attended last year, also joined the call for people to donate.

“Many of you may remember Alivia, one of our beautiful preschool mums from last year,” a Facebook post from the school reads.

“We were heartbroken to hear that Alivia has recently been involved in a serious motorbike accident in Bali, leaving her with severe injuries including brain trauma and a broken pelvis. She is currently in hospital and facing a long road to recovery.

“Alivia is a devoted mum to her two young daughters who need their mum home. Her family and friends are working hard to support her recovery and bring her safely back to Australia when she is well enough to travel.

“A fundraiser has been created to help cover medical costs, ongoing care and the extremely high cost of emergency medical transport home.”
