
A man has died after a boat incident in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, with police urgently searching for a teenager they believe might have been onboard.
New South Wales police said emergency services were called to Palm Beach after reports that a had boat capsized near Barrenjoey Headland.
Lifesavers pulled a man from the water, who was then treated by paramedics. Tragically, he was unable to be saved and died at the scene.
A second man made it to rocks and climbed up before he was rescued by the Toll ambulance rescue helicopter.
A search operation is underway for a 14-year-old boy who police believe may have been a passenger on the boat.
